This policy explains what personal data FastASO ("we") collects when you use fastaso.com (the "Service"), why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to hello@fastaso.com.
What we collect
- Account data. Your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- Session data. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and the IP address and browser type recorded with each session.
- Billing data. Your token balance, purchases and Stripe customer ID. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach our servers.
- Content you create. App Store listing text (names, subtitles, keywords, descriptions, URLs, review contact details), screenshots and captions, custom prompts, and the releases and settings you save.
- Sources you connect. If you connect GitHub, an access token (stored encrypted) that lets us read the repositories you pick. If you give us a website or App Store link, the text on that page.
App Store Connect API keys
Your App Store Connect private key is saved in your browser, not on our servers. When you pull from App Store Connect, your browser signs a token that expires within minutes, and our server only forwards it to Apple. When you start a sync, the key is sent to our server so the sync can keep running in the background. It is stored encrypted while that sync runs and deleted as soon as it ends. During a sync we also read statistics about the synced app from App Store Connect (ratings, review counts, in-app purchase counts and Apple's analytics reports, such as downloads and purchases) and keep them to improve the Service.
How we use it
- To run the Service: sign you in, save your work, generate and translate listing copy, render screenshots and sync them to App Store Connect when you ask us to.
- To bill you and keep your token balance correct.
- To send emails you need, such as sign-in links, and emails from fastaso.com about product updates and news. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the Service secure and fix errors.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the Service, and only what each one needs:
- Hetzner hosts our servers and database in Germany.
- Cloudflare stores screenshots and daily database backups in the United States.
- OpenAI processes the text you send to AI features (listing copy, custom prompts, captions, and content from sources you connect) to generate or translate it.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Amazon Web Services (SES) sends our emails.
- Google and GitHub, if you choose to sign in with Google or connect GitHub.
- Apple receives your listing and screenshots when you sync a release to App Store Connect.
Some of these providers process data outside the EU, mainly in the United States. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days. Database backups are kept for 30 days, so deleted data disappears from them after that. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to move it elsewhere. Email hello@fastaso.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The Service is for developers and businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and let you know by email or in the app.
